How Tele-tutoring Works
- Call to make your tele-tutoring appointment with your calendar and credit card handy by phoning 416-922-9604 x221 or 1-800-238-0377
- Answer the phone when it rings at the allotted time; please give the tutor 5 minutes grace; you will receive your full time even if you start a few minutes late
- The tutor will tell you when there are two minutes left in your session so you can choose how to spend the remaining time.
Make the most of your tele-tutoring time:
- Study first so that your questions will derive from real knowledge needs
- Be ready to begin before the phone rings
- Prioritize your questions and have more questions ready than you think you will need
- Plan for no interruptions
- Make notes as you go; ask the tutor to slow down if necessary
